Early Childhood–A Big Hit at Westward Elementary!
October 28, 2016
The seniors in the Early Childhood Academy at PBL hit the ground running this year with their intership assignments at Seminole Trails Elementary, Westward Elementary, and Egret Lakes Elementary. The students spend a quarter at each of the three schools on a rotational basis. At the end of the first rotation, this glowing report of one student’s experience was submitted–hot off the press!
Mikaila Scott, with the permission of the students’ teachers and administrators, posted these fabulous classroom and school pictures of her time with Mrs. Beschen’s 2nd graders. “The first two pictures [are] from … the Book-a- rade … [It] was a lot of fun!!!” Mikaila also shared pictures of one of her students coloring as a part of the lesson plan that she had for them which came from the book “Pumpkin , Pumpkin!”
Mikaila and her classmates enjoyed their time at Westward Elementary School. To remember her experience there, she took two pictures of Mrs. Beschen teaching her students a lesson about whole numbers. When asked what she would like to share with Mrs. Beschen, Mikaila simply said, “Thanks for everything!”
