Biotechnology is in full swing!! Everything is being refreshed and renewed! Under the direction of its new teacher (Dr. Rachel Wellman), the Biotech academy is bringing the onsite greenhouse and garden up to speed. The work is hard, but the results are rewarding.

The academy has newly designed shirts coming out; there is a new pressure washer in the lab; and the Biotech Carats are excited about a new field trip on the dockets. They will be heading out to Palm Beach State College later this month to engage in lab experiments, tour the facilities, and to connect with the PBSC Biotech Club students.

Palm Beach Lakes and the Five Carat Choice Program are absolutely THRILLED about Dr. Wellman and all that she has brought to the academy!
