College Board has introduced a new recognition program that allows students of color to be noticed by major universities. The recognition means that students are top-performing individuals, and as such they can include this honor on their resumes and applications. To be eligible, students take a qualifying College Board exam in October of their Junior year. Not only they achieve a recommended score (different from state to state), but they must also have at least a 3.5 cumulative GPA. Recipients are notified in August of their Senior year.
PBL is proud to announce that five of its RAMS have been honored by College Board–Johanna Harris (Medical Carat), Daelyn Neal (Medical Carat), La’Tarrah Box (Biotech Carat), Enrique Espinosa, and Julian McKoy. Please help congratulate these fine students for a job well done and for the incredible opportunities that await them.
