One of the many skills PBL Fire has to acquire is that of search and rescue while wearing blackout masks. The masks help cadets to experience what is like to actually enter a burning building in a pitch black environment to save someone who may not be conscious at the time. Great and necessary training for all those aspiring to become firefighters!
