Lakes Law at Constitution Day

Tera Hands, Choice Coordinator

Constitution Day is celebrated throughout the nation each year. This year was no different! On September 13, the Choice and Career Options department partnered with The American Board of Trial Advocates (ABOTA) to bring the 9th Annual James Otis Lecture Series, Constitution Day, to Palm Beach County. Like always the boardroom was filled to capacity with students in the local schools’ Criminal Justice, Law, and Law-Related Choice programs. The Law Academy at PBL took some eager 9th-12th grade students to the program, facilitated by Judges Cymonie Rowe, Samantha Schosberg Feuer, and Burton C. Conner. All in attendance were reminded of the US Constitution and its purpose and function in the nation. It was an informative yet fun experience for all of the students.
