Today’s 5 Carat Tour was electric! Students from Bear Lakes, HL Watkins, and Congress Middle visited to get a glimpse of life at Palm Beach Lakes.  They learned a little school history and tons of information about the academies.  The group dropped in on the PBL Law Academy courtroom.  Moreover, they saw the new weight room equipment (for a nice treat). Our guests enjoyed hearing about the Fire Academy and Medical Academy.  They watched a second year Medical Academy student’s evaluation in gloving and dressing. At the end of the tour, guests had the pleasure of seeing the JROTC students learning drills in the breezeway.

Thanks to our 8th grade visitors and their parents for spending the morning with PBL and the Five Carat Choice Program.  We look forward to receiving their applications–the deadline is January 25.
