One of the life-saving activities by the Medical Academy at Palm Beach Lakes is the Blood Drive in conjunction with One Blood.  The first drive of the 2018-2019 school year took place on October 3 in the Lecture Hall lobby.

Several students and faculty members participated.  They all received pizza for their contributions. This biggest reward, though, is knowing that they helped to save a life.  Those who missed this opportunity can look forward to giving blood next quarter. Ms. McFarlane and her EKG and HOSA students are in charge of the Medical Academy Blood Drives.
