In December the Lakes MCJROTC competed in the Palm Bay Magnet Postal Marksmanship Competition.  In only their second ever competition, this team placed in 13th place of 17 teams.  As a team, they performed well given the lack of experience in this type of competition.  The high shooter placed in 27th place out of 72 shooters in our class/category.  The high shooter was Cadet Staff Sergeant Julian Arevalo with a 221 (out of 300).  He was presented with a medal on February 1 for his achievement.
