The Biotech 2 students performed a pH level experiment using red cabbage.  The cabbage  substituted for the pH. The colors that are on the red side are acidic as well as the colors that are on the green side.  What does this mean?  It means that the substance is basic.  Now, the purple in the middle indicates neutrality.
