The Teacher Academy at Palm Beach Lakes boasts a prize that no other academy can–a professional job!  At the end of the school year, the seniors sign pre-contracts with the school district of Palm Beach County, promising to attend an accredited college or university and earn an education degree; in return, the district promises these TA graduates priority hiring when they return home with their credentials.  No other academy in the district offers this opportunity.  

To emphasize the possibility and reality of this unique academy “gem,” the academy’s Graduate Wall of Fame sits right outside of the classroom.  The wall features the names of TA graduates who made good on their part of the contract and who are currently teaching–or serving as counselors and administrators–in our area.  The position and presence of the wall motivates TA students of all levels to work hard and stay focused.  As indicated by the Wall of Fame and the name of their academy club, Teacher Academy students are our Florida Future Educators of America!
