HOSA…State Bound!
February 2, 2015
On January 30, 2015 Keiser University hosted the Region 9 HOSA Winter Leadership Conference and Competition. PBL had superb representation! Ten outstanding Ram students placed, and three students were recognized for the Health Care Issues Exam.
We would like to acknowledge the following students: Deon McKenzie (Dental Terminology–4th), Bernadyne Thelemaque (Dental Terminology–5th), Chryschan Jones (Medical Spelling–2nd), Renaldo East (Medical Terminology–4th), Victoria Lizarraga (Clinical Nursing–4th), Terrence Brown (Medical Assisting–2nd), Jenna Lloren-Blas (Medical Assisting–5th), Rose Geffard (Healthy Lifestyles–4th), Kiayana Clunis (Interviewing Skills–2nd), and Marissa Simms (Interviewing Skills–5th). Last, Rosela Orcene, Faith Palmer, and Jenna Lloren-Blas were recognized for passing the Health Care Issues Exam. Now, we are planning our trip for the HOSA State Leadership Conference at Disney’s Coronado Springs Resort in Orlando. HOSA is so excited to be representing Lakes at this year’s State Competition–WE GOT THAT RAM FEVER!

I had a blast at HOSA Winter Leadership Conference and Competition! This year was my second year attending and I swear it keeps on getting more interesting. You never know what to expect from HOSA.
P.S.
I’m at the end by the gentleman in the white shirt. :).
